Military climatology is a branch of military physical geography. Plans of action and combat engineering activities have to be considered in the framework of this branch of sceience. Throughout the Sacred Defense, the launching of Moharram Operation conicided with a torrential rainstorm. It resulted in an extensive damage to the forces, installations, intrenchments, and friendly positions notably in the submergible area. Indeed , the application of military climatology in combat engineering helps us to locate these detriments and secure from possible dangers. Moreover, artificial rain, torrent and avalanche can be made as specific tactics to be used in the particular situations.
