In today’s world, competitive advantage is a critical objective that organizations continuously strive to achieve. Motivated human resources, as the most valuable organizational asset, can pave the way for attaining competitive advantage by enhancing performance. Reward systems are widely used tools to motivate and encourage employees toward this goal. Specifically, reward systems improve organizational performance and productivity by enhancing employees’ "Quality of Work Life (QWL)". Performance enhancement is crucial for organizational survival and leadership in today’s highly competitive era—particularly in universities, given their vital role as centers for knowledge creation and application in society, which demands heightened attention to performance quality. Accordingly, the present study aimed to investigate the relationship between reward management and the quality of work life among entrepreneurial undergraduate and associate-degree students at One of the military centers. A descriptive correlational research design was employed. The statistical population comprised all 305 undergraduate and associate-degree students enrolled at the university in 2020 (1399 in the Iranian calendar). Using Morgan’s table and random sampling, a sample size of 170 students was selected. Data were collected using two validated instruments: Walton’s standard Quality of Work Life questionnaire (36 items) and a standard Reward Management questionnaire (19 items). Content validity of both instruments was confirmed, and their reliability was assessed via Cronbach’s Alpha, yielding coefficients of 0.81 and 0.78, respectively. Data analysis involved descriptive statistics (frequency distribution, mean, and standard deviation) and inferential statistics, specifically Pearson’s correlation coefficient. Findings revealed a statistically significant positive relationship between reward management and the quality of work life among entrepreneurial undergraduate and associate-degree students. Furthermore, all hypotheses concerning the relationship between reward management and the dimensions of quality of work life were also supported.
