Proper and healthy nutrition is one of the key factors in enhancing performance, improving bodily activities, and strengthening individuals who engage in physical activity, such as athletes and military personnel. Optimizing nutrition not only reduces fatigue, enables longer training and activity periods, and facilitates faster recovery, but also decreases the incidence of injuries and accelerates the repair of wounds and damage. It thus influences the overall outcome of training sessions and military programs during drills or operations. On the other hand, insufficient energy supply, which is the most significant factor in reducing the strength and capacity of individuals to perform mental and physical tasks, results from an improper and unbalanced diet. Although nutrition alone cannot replace individual traits, genetics, theoretical training, practical training, and the psychological readiness of operational and combat forces, it is currently considered one of the most important contributing factors alongside these indicators and proper methods of physical training and activity. It plays a crucial role in developing strength, flexibility, and enhancing physical readiness, which are essential for success and victory in military operations. To ensure an efficient nutritional system, it is important to determine the appropriate amounts of each nutrient based on environmental conditions, such as climate, altitude, and the type of activity. This ensures sufficient and adequate intake of essential nutrients.
