This study examines the form and structure of possible wars in the next 25 years from a Swedish perspective. It is obvious that the form and structure of wars have changed significantly due to the growth and innovation of new technologies. These developments have created theoretical and practical questions for the armed forces, i.e., how the development of these new systems will determine the state of the exercise of power in the current era to continue wars. The current research examines this question from three perspectives (artificial intelligence, automatic systems and future battlefields in terms of infantry) in the field of land, sea and air warfare and examines the situation for Sweden and future wars. As a result, the Swedish Armed Forces have a greater advantage than other countries when it comes to absorbing ideas and adapting to new warfare technologies, because the structure of their fighting forces is less dependent on old systems. From the Swedish point of view, the distance factor is one of the most important dimensions of future warfare at the level of the individual soldier. In conditions of weakness and equilibrium, defense will be the stronger path in war. In conditions of superiority and victory, especially in the case of a shortage of forces, it will be a better way of war, provided that creative thinking and the use of new technologies increase and develop day by day.
