Politics is one of the most effective components in the sociology of war. The present study examines and explains the political attitude of Islam towards war. One of the most important issues in Islamic political jurisprudence is the war and relations between Dar al-Islam and Dar al-Harb. Islamic political jurisprudence has always been accompanied by evolution and development during the past eras. Thus, the present article seeks to explain the political attitude of Islam towards war by using two methods of research: content analysis and historical-analytical methods. Data were collected through the library method. For this purpose, first the verses of the Quran and authentic Islamic narrations have been cited and then the historical events of the life of the innocent Imams have been narrated.
