One of the main concerns of organizations is the development of human resources. The purpose of this research was to investigate how to create and strengthen managerial skills and knowledge for managerial and commanding positions.The research was a descriptive survey with applied purposes. It examined and identified the methods of creating the required skills and knowledge and also their importancethrough the library research. A researcher-made questionnaire was prepared. It consisted of 52 items. Its validity was based on the views of the management professors of universities. The reliability was calculated with the Cronbach's alpha coefficient and it was 0.81. The statistical population of the research comprised of 130 members who worked in Sahib Al-Zaman unit (Isfahan), and the sample group were 97 persons. Results showed that all methods of creating knowledge and skills components of managers and commanders have significant importance. Due to the importance of decision-making and communication skills; occupational, organizational and general knowledge; and other individual specific needs and their components; military organizations have to try to improve these components in their managers and commanders.
