Providing and ensuring national security is the most important characteristic of a sovereign state and dynamic. National security exception to the rule is not affected by geopolitical indicators, regional environmental features and also has been a political necessity. Today’s, states for providing of maximum security for their countries, establish and develop defense doctrine. For example, such as Documents of the National Security and Homeland Security Strategies. In this regard, this study seeks to answer the question that what’s Position of Defense Doctrine in Providing of Iran's National Security? And what are the main elements of Iran's defense doctrine? In this regard, In response to the above question, we can say to the codification of Defense Doctrine for Iran, Not only is necessary for the survival and security making, also increase and improvement Iran’s position and base among regional countries. Codification of Defense Doctrine for Iran, Leads to effectiveness, Continuity and stability of the system, located on relation to defense and military engagement with other countries, etc. In our study, we’ve been trying to answer the above questions and also we use from library resources and through descriptive – analytical method.
