Life orientation is an important topic in the scope of staff's general health. The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between general health and staff's life orientation. The research was survey. Statistical population was the staff of a military industry organization. 67of employees were selected randomly as a sample group. Research tools were general health questionnaire (GHQ 28) and life orientation revised –test questionnaire (LOT-R). Reliability of the whole questionnaire was calculated 0.88 using Cronbach's alpha coefficient, but for the scales from 0.66 to 0.85 and also the second questionnaire, it was 0.70.The results of calculation of Pearson simple correlation coefficient showed that there is a significant negative relationship between general health (anxiety and depression) and the life orientation. Moreover, the results of regression analysis showed that only depression could significantly predict life orientation and it will account for eight percent of life orientation of staff. General health, especially depression is associated with life orientation of staff. Thus, the organization should do its best to follow of the principles of general health in the workplace to determine the life orientation of staff.
