Asymmetrical war is thinking, organizing and conducting an operation that is different from what enemy conducts in order to maximize friendly advantages through exploiting enemy's weak points. With respect to asymmetrical war, there are two main theories: A) the theory of asymmetry of interests; it means that powerful actors have little interest and motivation for conquest because their existence is not in danger whereas weak actors own more interest and motivation for victory since it is the victory that ensures their existence. B) The theory of strategic interactions; according to this theory, every strategy has a desirable anti-strategy. Thus, those actors who can anticipate enemy's strategy are able to increase the probability of success considerably through selection and conduction of appropriate anti-strategy. In asymmetrical war doctrine, tactics has the main role. It owns three interrelated aspects: 1) imagination, innovation and flexibility in conducting assigned missions 2) decision making in ambiguous conditions 3) understanding humanitarian aspect, in other words the effects of battle on soldiers is an important tactics of asymmetrical, psychological and guerrilla wars. In psychological operation, the purpose is to weaken enemy's will and morale. In guerrilla operation, human has the most important role in victory. This type of operation requires two significant elements of physical shelters and supportive populace.
