Accurate shooting to main elements of enemy is one of the goals of commanders. Thus, they always wanted to know and employ those who were highly skillful in shooting. Progress in technology and armaments have led to how to train and employ snipers. Centers were also established to train snipers. The special considerations of commanders have caused snipers to be more successful in various missions. In some cases, the snipers could change the result of wars on the benefit of their own countries. In spite of similarities and differences in the methods of selections, training and employment of snipers in different armies, this study tries to offer an appropriate model for selecting snipers, the procedure and the content of instructions, required equipment and the operation. I hope that the authorities can integrate and use this model with Islamic teachings of Islamic Republic Armed Forces.
