Ferdossie says “this world is unfaithful and mortal. It is like a myth and wind that we remember from a dream. This world whether good or bad passes. Thus, when we believe that “the universe remains and we will go”, why should we resort to extravagance and greed or why should we like the world of three or five days “we ought to plant the seeds of goodness. We should not bend our head except for the religion and rightness. Shahnameh reminds us that the death will definitely occurs and we are the victims and we were born for death.Thus, we should be ready for it. When combatants know that the death is right and we have to accept our fate, they will not be afraid of it anymore. When they confront with the sword, they sacrify themselves. It is because death arrives whether you are in a party or in battlefield.Therefor, a brave combatant prefers the death and martyrdom in battlefield to abject life. Since “the time of death and martyrdom coincide” martydom in battlefield is much better. According to holy Quran, killing and to be killed are the same. So, he will do his best and will not be afraid of the enemy.
