Geomorphology of the earth is a science that deals with the outer shape of the earth. It plays an important role in defensive and military issues. The landscapes of earth play a preventive role in offensive operations of the enemies. They are also considered as effective and determinant factors in military mobility. Geomorphologic conditions influence military operations. These conditions are: auricles, cliffs, altitudes, sandy hills, sandy lands and etc. In this study, attempts are made to elaborate the effects of geographical factors, Geomorphology, on combat briefly.
