Ferdossie̕s Shahnameh is full of advices, wise sayings and knowledge. The teachings of this great philosopher can result in victory, development and salvation. Some of his teachings, with respect to military affairs, are military, moral and theological lessons for all troops from soldiers to commanders. According to shahanameh, a commander should have bravery and authority. He ought to be able induce bravery to the troops. At same time, he should be kind to his soldiers.
In his decisions, he should be patient, wise and conscious.
Another issue that ferdossie emphasizes on is God – worshiping. He believes that the troops should remember God in all occasions either when they are in battlefield or when they are at rest. Because the best weapon is praying. They resort to God before and during the battle. At end of the battle, they ought to thank God
Ferdossie believes that the combatants should resort to God in all situations.
