The history of human societies has always been associated with different events. Ethnic and tribal hostilities have been the main instruments of nations and governments to achieve their ends. The superiority in the battlefield is dependent on many factors including moral and physical readiness of troops, plan of action, firepower of the weapons, intelligence superiority, command and control, etc. However, combat readiness to perform military operations hinges on faith, bravery and the boldness of the combatants and their competence to acquire needed skills. Indeed, the acquisition of general and professional skills is indispensable for commanders and combatants to increase the combat power in ground units. These skills provide the required readiness to confront the enemy and to gain superiority. They are supposed to augment the capabilities of individual before and during the operation. Being able to use individual weapons, performing close combat, applying anti-tank weapons, finding directions, protecting individuals, moving properly in the combat area, etc. are some of the main skills. Also, commanders must be capable in command, control, leadership, techniques and tactics. Hence, the capabilities of infantry units will be increased and the accomplishment of mission will be facilitated.
