Network – Centric Warfare is regarded as a kind of asymmetric war. In this sort of conflict victory is not attained due to the military and economic superiority or the number of troops. Success can be obtained only by information superiority and applying war equipment in a networked structure. In this battle subordinate organizations do not have a vertical hierarchy. But, their organic relationship is horizontal .Therefore; confronting the enemy in such warfare is far more difficult. The main characteristics of NCW are as follow:
-Having networked organization rather than vertical hierarchy.
-The existence of virtual targets in addition to traditional ones.
-Using space based equipment.
-Non-existence of rough regulations in internal and external relations.
Guerilla groups and terrorist organizations often make use of this kind of warfare.
