Weather condition has a major influence on the activities of armed forces, there for, any alteration in the atmospheric condition such as temperature, rain full, humidity, etc causes some limitations to military operations.
In a scientific approach, each military movement will be influenced by the climate. Climatological researches and the analysis of atmospheric data are determinant of the kinds of weapons, equipment, and clothes.
Moreover, they determine the methods, tactics, deployment, and organizing. Accordingly, the endurance and aduptation of armed forces will be optimized in operations.
This paper attempts to examine the influence of climatological factors on the activities of armed forces considering the scientific findings and experiences of the B – year Holy Defense.
