The current research was conducted with the purpose of determining the vulnerability of armored battalions in confronting with takfiri groups in urban warfare and providing solutions to improve their performance. The research is practical in terms of purpose, and it has been implemented through a combination of quantitative and qualitative approaches. The statistical population of the research was determined by the full number method. It included experts and combatants of the Islamic Resistance Front of the Syrian war. Research data were collected by library method, questionnaire (made by researcher) and interview and analyzed with spss software version 25. The reliability of the questionnaire was 0.943. It was calculated with Cronbach's alpha coefficient. The results showed that there were problems in some organizational and educational aspects.
