Due to the diversity of the challenges students faced with and the issue of goal setting and planning for life, it is very important to have dominance over life skills to manage the challenges of living. The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between student life skills with the purpose in life. The statistical population of the research comprised 350 students of officer school. 147 students were selected randomly as the sample. The tools were the questionnaire of student life skills (Sultan Panah, et al., 1389) and the questionnaire of the purpose in life (PIL) (Krambaf and Maholick, 1969). The research method was descriptive and correlational and The statistical methods of correlation and regression were used. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between students’ life skills, in general, and also its three components including self-awareness, stress management skills and effective communication skills with the purpose in life of military students. It should be noted that stress management skills could predict the purposeful life, but the other variables were not meaningfully able to predict the purposeful life.
