Weather elements are effective factors influencing the strategy and decision-making of military commanders. The temperature effect on military operations is quite substantial. The purpose of research is to investigate the effects of temperature on the defensive strategy of the country and in particular the manpower and equipment. For this purpose, monthly and annual temperature data from 83 synoptic and climatology stations of the south of the country were extracted from 1950 to 2010. The normality of data were checked through the " Kalmagvrf – Smirnov ‘s test" and analyzed in the model process of using «tr». Results showed that among the 83 stations, 57 stations followed the model process. The method of least squares for some of these stations, and the range of variations were segregated into five categories. The range of variations, that were more than 1.5 degree Celsius, were separated. The result of study showed a relationship between the time series model and defensive strategies in the south of the country. The main part of the first axis (Bandar Abbas- Tehran) was placed in hot and very hot region. Thus, defensive operations due to mobility (walking and vehicle) will be less successful.
