The emergence of Islam under the auspices of the Holy Prophet’s teachings in the Arabian Peninsula brought about a profound change in the Position and destiny of the Mediterranean and West Asian states.
After the Holy Prophet dealt with explaining the social and intellectual values of Islam before the Paganism dominating the Arabian Peninsula, the leaders of Qoreysh and mischief – makers launched different forms of psychological warfare against him, for they considered the instructions and divine teachings of Islam as a threat to their interests. Therefore, they resorted to different kinds of psychological warfare such as: ridicule, derision, stimulation, emboldening, intimidation, spreading rumors, declamation, and terrorizing the followers of the Holy Prophet by torture. It should be noted that the Holy Prophet profited form psychological warfare against his enemies. Moreover, he preferred this kind of warfare to physical engagements.
During the prophetic mission of the Holy Prophet different kinds of Psychological operations were exercised by disbelievers of Qoreysh tried to hinder Islam form achieving its objectives as they desired to stay in their polytheistic states. However, the Holy Prophet succeeded in humiliating and frustrating the enemies. Subsequently, after the demise of the Holy Prophet, they employed new tactics. Deviating Moslems form the divine path is one of the most important tricks applied by the enemies.
